D-RH
The D-RH is a dreadnought brought up to date with a radiused top and the red spruce bracing found in all H&Ds. The radiused top brings a boost to the mid-range for a more balanced tonal palette . It was clearly designed with the flat picker in mind, but with enough dynamic range to be enjoyed by the finger-stylist. Indian rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top are standard. The elegance of curly maple binding and fine herringbone top purfling belies the D-RH’s willingness to rip it up on stage.

DS-12
With 12 frets to the body and 24.9 scale length, these guitars have the power of our standard DS but with a rounder tonal quality. To many players, 12-fret guitars are imbued with near-mystical qualities. When the neck is moved two frets toward the body, the sound hole and bridge must follow its trajectory and the bracing must be rearranged to suit. There’s no reason to think it will project like a 14-fretter, and it doesn’t. It’s bigger! And not a guitar for the timid!

The time of the small-bodied guitar has returned, bringing with it the comfort and warmth that will make it your true friend for life.

TOM-R
Classic timeless styling. The Huss & Dalton TOM-R combines traditional flat-top construction with the red spruce bracing used in all Huss & Daltons. This guitar is especially suited for finger-style players or flatpickers with a lighter touch, yet holds up to vigorous strumming when the performance becomes more intense. The even response and airy, shimmery qualities the OM has always been known for are maintained and expanded on in the Huss & Dalton TOM-R.

TOM-M
Imagine a guitar with a warm tone that still manages to clearly show you the start and stop of every note, and then you’ll get some idea of what the TOM-M sounds like. This OM features the same flat-top construction style as our TOM-R but combines mahogany with a Sitka spruce top. Rather than the immediate flash of the TOM-R, the TOM-M shines subtly with traditional mahogany guitar appointments like tortoise-style body bindings and simple dot fretboard inlays. Understatement is the name of the game here—that is, until you pick the first note.

CM
The Huss and Dalton CM model is perfect whether you are a songwriter needing an inspirational writing tool or a discerning finger stylist, or perhaps a blend of both. Though somewhat smaller than a dreadnought and with deep sides at 4-5/8″, it really packs low-end warmth and response. The elegant design includes a soft Venetian cutaway, body and fretboard bindings of figured maple, an abalone rosette, and an understated 12th-fret scroll fretboard inlay in abalone. The Huss & Dalton CM will give you the full tonal spectrum, as well as the reach to achieve the most complex melody.

Crossroads
We think of the Crossroads guitar as a smaller DS Crossroads. The tonal balance is similar, and its volume doesn’t suffer much from being caged in a smaller body. You may find that the Crossroads makes a more convenient traveling companion than its DS Crossroads big brother. The dark sunburst and unpurfled cream binding present a no-frills look, perfect for the unpretentious player who prefers to let the music attract the attention. The Crossroads is also a shade deeper in the body than the 0, 00, and 000 series, creating a guitar with perhaps a bit bassier presence.

OM
The Huss & Dalton OM is a beautiful guitar with the same features as our OM-C, but with the more traditional lines of a non-cutaway. The rosewood binding on a rosewood body conjures up images of tuxedos and limousines—it’s that formal and glamorous-looking—yet it can just as easily enhance the performance of a folkie or jammer. Designed, in-house, with the H&D Ripple fretboard inlay.
Don’t let its elegance blind you; this guitar can please any audience.

MJ
This mid-size jumbo, at 16″ across and 4 7/8″ deep, features a Sitka spruce top and comes standard with beautifully figured maple back and sides. It has a big voice without the muddy quality often associated with guitars of this size. Either you dig the shape or you don’t, but you can’t question the players who ascended to stardom with a jumbo guitar held in front of them. The MJ also comes in Indian rosewood or mahogany. Half-herringbone (rope) top purfling is standard, as well as the half-herringbone rosette, and the Indian rosewood binding adds class, as well as protection to the delicate edges of the guitar. “A nod to the iconic Dreadnought, the standard Pilgrim has East Indian rosewood back and sides, and is also available in mahogany at no additional charge.” The prototype (September 2015) for this model originated in concept and collaboration with longtime H&D dealer Acoustic Music Works (Pittsburgh, PA). Very much as we are, Steve and his crew are huge fans of the craftsmanship at Huss & Dalton, and really understand how to make the most of their skills and select materials when designing guitars. We think this is a fitting extension of their traditional model offerings, sure to become an important instrument in the Huss & Dalton legacy.

Albert Lee T-OO14
While being known as a jumbo player when playing acoustic, Albert also fancies a smaller bodied tone and feel. In 2013 we collaborated with Albert to produce his vision of what he wanted in a small bodied acoustic. The result was the Albert Lee signature model T-0014. It pairs the popular features of our T-OO14 standard with the touches that made it the right choice for Albert, such as a slim 1 11/16″ nut width and 2 1/8″ saddle spacing, along with a striking tobacco sunburst top finish.

DS Crossroads / DS-12 Crossroads
Take the H&D standard DS. Convert it to a flat top with a short scale. Then take a chisel to the bracing to compensate for the shorter scale length. Strip it back to an unostentatious dress code but maintain the dark sunburst, and you have a guitar of epic proportions. The DS-12 shares the same specifications in a 12 frets to the body version which moves the bridge lower on the top for enhanced warmth and sweetness.

CM non-cutaway
We think of the Huss & Dalton CM-non cutaway as a smaller, more comfortable dreadnaught. Let’s face it—some guitarists just can’t abide the looks of a cutaway, nor do they need the extra reach and the standard dread can feel too large in the lower bout to comfortably sit and strum. This version of the CM is a dead ringer for a OOO with a 14-fret neck, offering a comfortable body size with a 25.4″ scale length for a powerful guitar with perhaps a shade more resonance than the cutaway version. This guitar offers a strong, balanced tonal response in a comfortable package.
Standard woods are Engelmann Spruce top and either Mahogany or Indian Rosewood back and sides.

FS
Our Model FS is aimed directly at the modern finger-style player. While utilizing the body shape of the CM, it adds shallower body depth for a more immediate response along with lighter top bracing for greater sustain. Its wider tapered fretboard, combined with a flatter, low-profile neck shape, ultimately creates the perfect finger-style guitar. Shown here is a standard FS with an Engelmann Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides.

The Meridian DC Classic
With a nod to our single cutaway Statesboro models, we built upon the maple carve top and developed the double cutaway from there.
We completely redesigned the body with a comfort carved body relief on the back and moving to a two volume, one master tone and a 3-way switch configuration on the lower control panel. We’ve turned once again to Lindy Fralin to provide us with pickups that are second to none in our opinion. We stock the Meridian with Fralin P.A.F. Modern Humbuckers for a slightly higher output pickup but optionally we offer Fralin Pure P.A.F. as well as their Hum-Cancelling P-90’s. As with every Fralin pickup they can also be customized with over or under wound options to satisfy everyone’s tonal needs.
Everything from the top of the peghead on down was refined over multiple prototype builds and small changes until we landed on what we think is a beautiful, great sounding, and lightweight comfortable guitar.
